Prayer for Widows, Widowers or Grieving the Loss of a Loved One
Lord Jesus Christ, during Your earthly life You showed compassion to those who had lost a loved one. Turn Your compassionate eyes on me in my sorrow over the loss of my husband (replace with Mom or Dad, child, friend or life partner) Fill this emptiness until we are together again in Your heavenly kingdom as a reward for our earthly service.
Help me to cope with my loss by relying on You even more than before. Teach me to adapt to the new conditions of my life and to continue doing Your will. Enable me to avoid withdrawing from life and make me give myself to others more readily, so that I may continue to live in Your grace and to do the task that You have laid out for me.

This page is dedicated to prayer for Widows or anyone grieving the loss of a loved one, but I would like to add a Salvation Prayer for those of you that are ready and willing to confess your sins, repent and ask for forgiveness to God.
All you need to do is ask Jesus into your heart and life to give you peace and a hope. I know the Holy Spirit has led you here. Pray the prayer below to start a new life and intimate relationship with Jesus our Savior and friend, who died on the cross for our sins, but was resurrected so that we could come alive and be more like Him!
Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.
